Top 4 Cosmetic Products that are Using Animal Testing

You may think that most large cosmetics businesses were on stand with solutions to animal cruelty, yet there are still several that pay to poison and kill animals. It's not always simple to figure out which brands don't use animals in their testing. For example, L'Oréal, which does not test on animals in the United States, pays for lethal testing in China, where cosmetics must undergo outdated and painful animal testing.

However, here four cosmetic companies that are using animal testing in their products:

#1. NARS

For many, NARS was previously a cruelty-free go-to brand. Sadly, they modified their animal testing policy earlier this year to match their plan to enter the Chinese market. NARS will again test on animals unless it is necessary, implying that they are no longer cruelty-free.

One beneficial thing that has come out of this dreadful choice is that it has received a lot of media attention, which is helping to raise awareness against animal testing!

#2. L'OREAL

L'Oreal has a famously deceptive FAQ on animal testing. "L'Oréal never longer tests any of its products or ingredients on animals, anywhere in the globe," they declare. L'Oréal does not abdicate this responsibility to anyone. They do, however, sell their products in China, where animal testing is required for all foreign cosmetics.

They also address this gap in their policy: "An exception may be made if authorities demanded it for human safety or regulatory objectives." In other words, they pay animal testing of their completed products in China, where it is mandated by law.

#3 Estée Lauder

Despite the fact that Estée Lauder claims to be "dedicated to the elimination of animal testing," the company does test on animals as required by law. They aren't a cruelty-free company and sell their products in the Chinese market, which requires animal testing.

Estée Lauder, like L'Oreal, owns a number of other brands that are subject to the same regulation.

#4. MAC

MAC Cosmetics is one of the most well-known and famous makeup brands of all time, and they used to be a cruelty-free brand, which may cause some confusion about their present approach. They are owned by Estée Lauder, which does not test on animals unless it is mandated by law (as mentioned above). MAC isn't a cruelty-free firm since it sells in China, where animal experimentation is legal.

Instead of using products mentioned in above, try cosmetic products that are Cruelty-free! Here are the following list:
